NaNoWriMo #8: Balancing Work Writing and Fiction Writing

Just about to reach 8,000 words.

I know I’m super behind now, which frankly, is disappointing. This Lady really needs a few days to catch up and just write thousands of words in one burst. One can only hope, right? Actually, I have a theory, that towards the end of the month will be crunch time and I’ll write a bunch of words. Pressure makes diamonds, and I’m the kind of writer who will get work done right before a project is due, until the very last minute. Am I the only one who does that?

This week, I was busy with life and other writing projects. From the get go, I knew this was going to be a challenge for me. Juggling work writing and NaNoWriMo writing. For those of you who are new to this blog, I write for an awesome website, ComicsVerse.com and do weekly comic book reviews and articles. Also, I am a freelance writer on Fivver . Plus, I have this blog to write for, which is a labor of love.

Despite having a couple writing assignments this week, I’m going to keep pushing forward, slowly but surely. Not even gonna obsessively count how many words I’ve written. I’m not going to complain about my work responsibilities. I just need to keep writing. Hopefully, I can use my non-existent time management skills to find time for everything.

Write with Heart,

Lady Jabberwocky
