NaNoWriMo #18: Snowy Catch-Up Days

Here in New York, We’ve got our first dusting of snow the other day. It was actually more like a couple inches worth of snow. Starting to feel like Winter over here.

Sorry if I’ve been absent, I’ve been playing catch up these past couple days. Hovering around 15,000, I think. I know I’m incredibly behind now, but I’m still going to keep going.

Even though I’m behind word count wise, there is a bright side to taking a slower pace. I’ve noticed that scenes are arranging into place, and that’s pretty cool. Things look like they are coming together in my story, it’s exciting. If you’re participating in NaNoWriMo this year, keep on writing! Let your imagination be your guide! And just do your best!

It’s peddle to the metal in these last few weeks of November. As I’m writing this, I’m about to start another nightly writing session. Burning the midnight oil, as it were. Keep your fingers and toes crossed, lovelies, that something decent gets written.

How is NaNoWriMo treating you? You guys holding up okay? Any plot revelations? Or writer stress? Pour a glass of wine and talk to me in the comments.

Write with Heart,

Lady Jabberwocky

    1. 18,000 words is great! Don’t worry about the word count, just keep writing! Even if you only write a little bit each day. And there’s nothing wrong with taking a break and resting. 🙂 Good luck with your NaNoWriMo project!
