Lady Jabberwocky 
It came again and again. It wouldn’t stop, like it was an elf on the other side, or an army of elves, all of them taking turns knocking the door. I told them to stop. I screamed at them to go away. But they wouldn’t. Knock after knock, the noise continued, until I slumped to the ground. I couldn’t leave. Had no where to go. All I wanted was for the knocking to stop, and that’s the way it was, until my knuckle started to bleed from all that pounding, and I looked down at the injuries, wondering where they’d come from.
