  1. Honestly, I don’t even know my MC’s sexual orientation. It’s just not relevant to the story. I suspect readers will interpret him as bi, but I’m not going to pin it down for them in spite of the whole argument that non-explicit representation isn’t representation at all. It’s not a romance, and he won’t get a partner, so this is something I’ve left blank for readers to fill in.
