You open an Easter egg and what’s inside is definitely not candy. What’s in the plastic egg?
There were so many amazing responses to last week’s prompt, I couldn’t pick just one. So hats off to Eliza Daley, Greg Dennison and Tamara Yancosky.
Write your response in the comments below. Best entry gets a shout out next week!

I found an egg. It was golden and iridescent . I thought it was just a decorative plastic egg. When I held it in my hand, it was warm to the touch. The shell had what appeared to be a zigzag patterned crack. Slowly, I lifted the top half. Sparks flew out like a tiny bolt of lightning, zapping my thumb. I almost dropped it, but was concerned something inside was alive. I lifted the egg level with my eyes. As I raised the egg, I heard tapping on the top. I could feel tiny vibrations on the bottom of the egg against my palm. I peered inside. It was pure magic. Sparkling light filled the egg. Finally a whinnying sound came from within as the top flew off. Out stepped a miniature unicorn with a mane of rainbows and a golden horn.
