Where candles burn and heads swim, lust floats on a raft of whims.

IN AN INSTANT
You watch your children grow like little saplings in the radiant sunlight and when you revisit those saplings the next day, they are majestic redwoods reaching for the skies.

The ruined castle rose silent and beautiful over the dark forest, attracting the adventurers who were looking for a safe place in which to camp, but in the dungeons below stirred things that were neither silent nor beautiful.

People who grow up in plant pots filled with rocks can’t be nurturing soil themselves, every rule has his exceptions. I liked this prompt a lot. It’s like an american sentence of some kind.

It was a desert of crisp, dry grass; the pounding sun beat down upon the hedgehog’s head as he hurried at a snails pace through the drought ravaged field, hot with hoping for peace in the ever distant shade.
