Does your main character have any hobbies? If so, what are their hobbies?
Hats off to Dawn Renee Miller for a magical response to last week’s prompt of the week.
Write your response in the comments below. Best entry gets a shout out next week!

My 16th century character, Beth, plays the harpsichord and recorder. She writes songs and sings. She also sets scripture to music. So far she has written a dozen songs.

My MC’s only hobby is drinking. Not surprisingly, it leads him to trouble: riding around the Gulf of Mexico on a fiberglass whale.

My main character (Greg, a university student in 1996) likes reading, going for bike rides, watching sports, listening to music, trying to meet girls on text-based Internet Relay Chat… and of course writing.

Samantha writes music. Her songs are dreams for the world she wants to live in and the person she wants to be. She’s still too shy to share any of her music, but she hopes to find the courage someday soon.

Bobby smokes Lucky Strikes, likes to drive his partner’s black Corvette, and shows a worrying wealth of knowledge of 1950s movies. (Okay, he lives in New York in the 1950s and early 60s)

I thank you for asking this great question! Sybil Kibble loves to walk, Bern Cacca plays accordion for charity (and to make herself look good) and Konrad Teirant enjoys spending time asking strangers if they heard the good news about the Flat Earth Society.
